Chapter 14 Five hours later, listening to the drone of the engines on the small private jet we were on, I couldn’t get Rowan’s words out of my head. Once the backup Ewan had sent for arrived, goodbyes had been rushed and teary. Amazingly, Mitch had arranged a special transport visa for Rose and Rowan to bring Holly’s body back, and they would be heading straight home after a quick stop in Montreal to pick up their gear. Rose had held me, assuring me that everything would be okay, and that she would talk to me when she got home.
