Chapter 10
It took me ten minutes to get Alec out of the room so I could get ready. He’d exchanged his holey gray sweater for a dark green tee and black jeans, along with his usual black combat-style jacket and lace up boots. Then, he’d tried very hard to convince me to let him stay while I changed, but I shooed him out of the room.
Peering into my bag, I realized there weren’t too many choices and shrugged. Gray skinny jeans and silver Sk8-hi’s it was. I pulled out an ancient but girly black and silver concert tee and was just pulling it over my head when Amber, Holly and Rose barged in.
“Finally, I thought he’d never leave!” Amber flopped down on the bed, tossing a pile of clothes before her. “Dig in, people! I got club clothes here for everyone!”
