I sighed as I held Rachel in my arms as she slept and kissed her temple. I loved this woman more than anything and I vow to protect her. Not because Giovanni and Lucien told me to, but because I can’t see myself living without her. She was my entire life…her and the baby growing inside her. I carefully unwrapped my arms away from her and covered her naked body.
I slipped on a pair of pants and a shirt heading down to the office. My father stood over the desk, glancing at me with a worried expression across his face.
