I stepped outside, meeting Lucien, Giovanni, and Rose. I put my hands behind my back and offered them a smile, which they returned. I’d already been approved by Giovanni, but not Rose. She was the queen and her approval was what mattered the most.
“You wanted to talk to me?” Rose asked, confused to what was going on.
