Episode 04 Stay away Dear Bride

    I inhaled softly and pushed the plate of shrimps away.

“Oh you still have your thing with shrimps?” She said smiling at me.

Just how well does this young lady knows me? I banged my hand on the table and she gasped in fear.

“Do you know anything about this family?” I asked her but she only smiled and that annoyed me more.

“You all are good people I’m sure of that at least” she replied.

Now I see how foolish you are, just because they helped you come back home, pulled you out of poverty and prepare expensive dress for you doesn’t mean they are nice people. Listen up, I promise you won’t last long. I said right to her face and her fear was now visible just as I expected.

“You don’t like me do you?” She questioned.

“Is that really the important question right now?” I groaned.

“It’s okay if you don’t like me, I’m only trying to fulfill my father’s wish so I’m ready to tolerate anything from you” she said with an innocent face and I felt so angry.

“Don’t blame me later girl, you should have run away before you got here” I said to her and stood up immediately.

“Are you leaving already? We’ve not even touch any of the food”

“I’m used to this kind of delicacies, it’s not for me but prepared to feed stray cat like you I guess “ I said to her and left the flower house.

He did not even ask what my name is, I felt so hurtful.

I don’t even understand anything out of everything he said, who has breakfast in a flower house anyway? I’m sure it got ruined because of the location.

I stood up as well and returned to my room sulking, I felt so embarrassed with him calling me a stray cat.

An hour later I heard knock on my door, I walked lazily to the door and it turns out to be Xander.

“Come out in 5, we are going on a date” he said and left almost immediately.

What? Did I hear that wrong or am dreaming right now? The same guy that insulted me earlier is here asking to go on a date together.

I quickly tidy up my hair and ran after him immediately, tried to catch up with him but he was far gone.

On getting to the car,he hopped in without getting the door for me, well I’m not yet his wife anyway so I should not get angry with this.

I hopped in and we left the big mansion.

We arrived at a very big restaurant but bubbling inside with people.

Who comes to a date in such a place? Now I know he doesn’t have a little bit of affection for me but it’s okay he owns his heart, I can just enjoy this wealthy life when I have the chance to.

One of their attendants came to welcome us and ushered us to a corner where two people are sitting already.

A man and a very sexy lady.

I was surprised when Xander called me this morning to get him a random girl if possible a hoe to play his girlfriend, I mean he is not into an act of womanizing so why all of a sudden? But to my surprise I saw him approaching us with another girl, she looks so familiar and when they were almost close, her face came right up and I remember bumping into her in the mansion last night.

So she is the new bride for Xander, so soon? I whispered to myself.

If Xander doesn’t like a girl, he is not the type to go to such length making a girl jealous. He’s been married thrice and has never rejected any of them before marriage, I wonder why he is doing this.

“Hey buddy” he said to me and we did some kind of friendship greetings with our knuckles against each other.

“Uhm Xander, What is this place?” Ashley questioned.

“What does it look like Miss future Princess? It is a restaurant and we are here to know each other” he said.

“Yeah a date is a meeting to get to know each other but.... how come we are not the only one here? Is it a double date?”

“How can someone talk so much like this?” The so called random hoe said bursting her bubbles loudly.

Ashley kept quiet immediately to avoid more insult.

“Sup Princess, you remember me?” Michael said winking at Ashley.

She wasn’t paying attention to Michael before and when he finally talked to her, she remember seeing him last night.

“Oh you? Wow so you are a friend” she said.

“Yeah, a close friend “ Michael replied.

“ You guys know each other?” Xander asked with feeling of jealousy arousing in him.

“No not really, we kinda met in a rush yesterday night” Michael said quickly and intentionally put it that way.

Then the lady stood up from her seat and went to sit on Xander’s leg.

Kayla was sent to the top school in the country where rich kids attends.

The school is very huge that I start to wonder if it is really a school or two big hotels joined together.

Starting with the fountain in the middle of the school,the flowers and decorations everywhere. This is a school for the royals I guess.

On each entrances, is a big board stating what each buildings stands for.

Music department, Drama and art, Fashion, Singing and all others.

I marveled at such creations and I couldn’t take my eyes off the Fashion house as I follow Mrs.Grimes personal attendant who followed me to school.

Soon we arrived at a big office where my registration is going to be validated.

The man smiled at me and ask me to follow him to start class already.

The hallway is silent and peaceful as the man ushered me to my new class.

Indeed I got impressed the more cause the class is so bright with students sitting with glass tables and laptops in their front each.

Golden decorated lockers at the back and with passwords instead of locks.

We are not even in college yet and everything looks so classy and advanced.

“Hello everyone, this is your new classmate Ashley White but with the Grimes family” the man’s introduction brought me back from my wonder land.

I noticed everyone’s face on hearing the Grimes family.

Some looked happy to see me while some cowered in fear.

Whatever reason for this mixed up expressions, I hope they don’t hate me on my first day already.

I smiled and introduced myself while they chorused “Welcome here” to me.

The man left and I was shown my seat.

I walked carefully to take my seat but the students couldn’t stop staring at me and murmuring.

“Okay back to class guys” the teacher announced clapping her hands.

I watch as the lady approach me and sitting right on my d**k, her booty is so soft that I could read her previous nasty activities.

I felt sick just having her close to me but she’s here to get a job done so I should allow her.

My supposed wife to be could not say anything instead she started playing with the utensils.

“So since you wanna know me so well, I’m happy to introduce you to my girlfriend, the one I’m in love with” I said and I could see her drop the utensils.

“Dear girlfriend “ I continued though I don’t know this b***h name.

“This is the woman I’m getting married to” i added.

Michael chuckled softly and scratching his forehead.

Ashley stood up angrily

“I understand you don’t like me but bringing your girlfriend here is too much, you could have inform your parents that you are in love with someone else then I wouldn’t be here in the first place” she said yelling at Xander.

“What to do? You are the only one that can help me, you just have to say no to the marriage” he said.

“Oh really? When you can’t even stand up for yourself at this point of your life, how old are you that you can’t tell your parents what you want and what you don’t want?” Ashley continued.

The last statement got Xander and he fumed with anger.

“Who am I to stop the marriage if you can’t” she said.

The hoe lady noticed Xander’s expression so she decided to butt in.

“Stop making a fuss already b***h, you gold digger looking for a cool place to settle” the hoe lady said.

“What?” Ashley gasped.

The lady stood up and emptied her cup of wine on Ashley “Yes b***h”

Michael was loosing his cool as the whole drama was getting out of hand.

“ I’m a very kind and easy going girl but you just called for it” Ashley said and start removing her shoes.

Xander could not process what was going to happen but Michael knew already so he stood up and retreated from the table.

Ashley start hitting the lady with her shoes and funny enough she can’t fight, she only started making funny screams and sounds running around the restaurant.

“Wow what a scene” Michael said laughing so hard.

“Is this funny to you?” Xander yelled at him.

“Okay okay ladies stop already” Michael said and hold Ashley back collecting the pair of shoes from her hand.

“Fair enough, we should leave” Ashley said and walked out of the restaurant barefooted.

The lady screamed angrily as strands of her hair is everywhere on the floor already.

“b***h, you don’t deserve to walk amidst humans, you should go and lock her up in a zoo or something”

“Mind your word b***h” Michael and Xander chorused.

“What? You both are ganging up on me right now?” She said crying.

Xander shot Michael a warning gaze then left the scene as well.

I could tell everything with his angry stare, he seems to be watching out for the new girl and I won’t allow that.

Despite knowing Dara was going to die, he never tried to stop their marriage back then instead he snatched her away just to get her killed.

I threw stacks of money on the table,enough money to pay for the harassment.

I should let you feel disappointed once in a while buddy, you have grown used to always getting what ever you wanted so you should try to know how it feels when something is taken away from you too.

The girl is interesting though, can’t wait to take her away from Xander.

I smirked and left for my car.

I watch Michael leaving in his car and the hoe lady coming out of the restaurant as well.

Ashley was already in the car so I hopped in and drove away from the place.

She remained quiet and refused to question my action nor show any bit of concern so I stopped the car abruptly and she cried out cause she hit her head on the glass.

“What is it? You almost got me killed” Ashley screamed at him.

“Get out” he said to her.

“What?”

“I said get out of my car right now” he yelled at her and she got down immediately.

Xander press down the button and the glass withdraw slowly into the handle then he lean on the second seat to talk to her.

“Are you doing this cuz of that girl?” She asked innocently.

“No!”

“Then why? What else have I done wrong again?”

“I’m dropping you off here so as to find a cafe nearby and do some research on the family you are coming into, considering you don’t seem to have a phone yet” he said to her then zoom off.

“That arrogant cruel bastard, how do I get home?”
