Love Boundaries

Ashley removed her hand from Michael’s hand and she stood away from him.

“Thanks for your concern, I’m all okay by myself but your future advice is welcomed too” she said with a smile.

“Okay,do have a nice night” Michael said and head towards the door.

Ashley went to the bedroom tiredly and looking out through the window,the night seems to be setting in pretty quick.

Glancing at the sky,she saw thick clouds and then leaves rustling which shows it might rain tonight.

“I wonder if he went to her,he is definitely spending the night with her” she thought to herself.

She was still staring out of the window when she saw Michael’s car unmoved from the car park.

Ashley developer this intuition that he is staring at her so she pulled the blinds together and stepped back panting nervously.

“What a strange young man” she said.

THE VACATION HOUSE

Dara prepared dinner and she ate with Xander before they both cuddled up in bed chatting and with smooches sometimes.

Few minutes later,Xander fell asleep and Dara slowly removed his hands on her body.

She sat up and stared at him with an intense smirk.

“I am the best person for you Xander, I was the only choice for you back then and till now. I don’t regret spiking your drinks back then and lied about us sleeping together,that was the only reason you accepted my love even though I’m not the young girl you have been fantasizing about.

If I could manipulate you into thinking I was the girl,became your girlfriend and then your wife,nothing can stop me from having you all to myself and become a rich crown princess”

Dara thought to herself and planted a kiss on Xander before going back into his embrace.

NEXT MORNING

Around 6:00 in the morning,Ashley felt her body heating up as if there is another person in bed with her,she squirmed and turned around with her eyes still closed and she started rubbing her hands everywhere on the bed until she touched a sturdy part.

She opened her eyes slowly only to see Xander sleeping peacefully in bed with her.

She gasp in surprise but covered her mouth immediately.

“When did he come back ?” She muttered.

Xander pull up the duvet on his body properly “I need this short sleep,be quiet please” He said with a groan.

Ashley rolled her eyes and pout her lips at him mimicking him.

“It’s not as if I’m shouting, I didn’t even hear what i said as the speaker” she said.

“Alright so quiet “ Xander pleaded.

“Whatever “ Ashley said and turned away.

Just then,an approaching footstep was heard and definitely coming towards their room.

“Uh,our room is the only room in this part of the mansion right? Who could that be?” Ashley questioned sitting up immediately.

Xander knew it must be his mother,he feared she should not find out how he snuck into the house this morning.

He forced Ashley’s back to the bed and embrace her tight.

“Hey what are you doing?” Ashley queried as she struggle to break free.

“Shhh I’m sure you don’t want her to know the deal between us right?”Xander said.

Ashley chuckle and sneered at his threat”I think you guys need to understand that I have nothing to lose here,if someone has to be scared it has to be you guys” she said with a piercing gaze.

Xander shushed her up then pulled the blanket over their head and the the door came open.

Mrs.Grimes walked in and examined the whole room looking for any traces of suspicion but found none.

She left when she saw that the duo are under the duvet cover so early in the morning.

Hearing the sound of the door closed,Ashley yanked the duvet away and removed Xander’s hand on her mouth.

“Argh... seriously? Do you have to s**t me up like that?” She yelled.

“Till now, you are too noisy” Xander said to her and went back to his sleeping position.

Ashley blows the hair dangling down her head to her mouth in frustration and cussed out.

“Now I have to cover up for my husband’s promiscuous activities “ she said.

THE VACATION HOUSE

Dara is awake already but could not see Xander beside her.

She sat in front of her mirror and stare at her reflection in anger.

“This is why I went back to Michael! This is the same thing I wanted to avoid ... what has gotten over him? Is he really going to abandon me? Will he?”

She started taking like a crazy woman and scratching her hair repeated until she threw a flower vase at the mirror and it went shattering into pieces.

THE GRIMES

Kalyan is fully dressed for school and she called her sister’s number, even though they are living in the same house,she can no longer visit her room anyhow like before. Things are different now.

Ashley picked it on the first ring.

“Morning sis, how was your night?” She said grinning happily on the phone.

“Morning Kay, my night was kinda good,you up already?” She said from the other end of the phone yawning so much.

“Sis,did you got busy last night? Check your time, I’m ready for school already” she explained.

“What? Oh my God, I slept over time I guess, what is with the call anyway?”

“I want you to watch me leave but now that you just woke up... I will have to go like that” she said.

“I’m so sorry honey, I look like a mess right now,don’t worry I will come to receive you in the after okay?” She said.

Kalyan smiled twisting her hair “Sounds fair enough “ she said and they end the call.

Kalyan walked to the car park and saw her driver waiting already,she said her greetings before entering the car.

Xander woke up 30 minutes past 6 and he is fully dressed already.

He was tying to button up his shirt when Ashley turned to his side tiredly squinting her eyes to avoid the ray of the direct sunlight.

“I thought someone mentioned about having a good sleep?” She said.

Xander remained quiet and continued buttoning you his shirt but Ashley walked over to his face looking so messy.

She helped him adjust his tie and tried to knot it for him.

Xander grabbed her hand to stop her from doing so. “What do you think you are doing?”

“What else? Duty! I’m only following Mother’s rules “ she said.

“Stop the charade, it is not as if she will know if we follow it or not “ Xander said.

“Then you should not have cuddled me so tight earlier in the name of happy marriage” she said and resumed to knotting his tie for him.

After a while, she was done and she smiled “All done”

Truly Ashley’s beauty is undeniable and she is the definition of every man’s dream but seems Xander’s restriction is making him turn a blind eye to this.

He watched her tenderly as she fix his tie for him,with pure sincerity on her face.

He muttered a thanks before exiting the room and that caught Ashley unaware that she opened her mouth in surprise.

Xander is resuming to the palace with Mr.Grimes today, to make his first appearance to the cabinet and talk about the decree issued by all subjects.

He joined Mr.Grimes at the dining table and Mrs.Grimes is seared as well.

The maids passed the food around and she noticed Ashley is not amidst them.

“Where is your wife?” Mrs.Grimes questioned.

“She will be here soon,she must have been tired “ Xander said as he pick up his teacup.

On the other hand,he quickly sent a text to Ashley to warn her of the situation”

“A new bride and you are still in bed while the family breakfast is ongoing “

He clocked on send.

In just 5 minutes, Ashley is out in the dinning area fully dressed and looking beautiful as ever.

Xander’s jaw dropped and wondered if she has gotten some sort of super powers.

“Good morning mother, good morning Father” she greeted.

“Yes Morning Ashley,trust your slept well” Mr.Grimes questioned.

“No it...” she was about to reply when Mrs.Grimes attacked her with her own questions.

“Why waking up so late? I told you the first week is for you to show your cooking skills didn’t I?” She said a

“I’m sorry mother” she said in apologetic tone.

“Sorry won’t justify things all the time Ashley, avoid any situation like being sorry to me” she warned.

Xander knew the situation was becoming unbearable for Ashley so he decided to break the ice.

“It is not entirely her fault, I should be blamed too” he said.

“You? How is that?” Mrs.Grimes questioned.

“Actually we had an unfinished business the other night and just have to finish it this morning” Xander said.

Mrs.Grimes remember entering their room this morning and seeing them in a strange position so she remained quiet while Mr.Grimes groan to inform Mrs.Grimes to stop the question.
