Ashley remained in her position watching Xander as he lift up his cup but the he was interrupted with a call.
He dropped the cup back on the table and went over to check his phone,he saw that it was Dara and he muted her call before putting it on silent.
The phone continued vibrating and Ashley went to the bathroom to excuse him.
“You can pick your call,I understand “ she said.
“No it’s fine... I’m ending things with her tomorrow “ he said.
“But you got married to her cause you loved her right?don’t tell me you fell out of love for her? “ she said gently.
Xander hug her so tight as he sniffs her scent in.
“She lies to me Ash...I thought she was you I’m sorry I found you late” he said.
“I will never ever do that to you” he added.
Ashley disengaged from the hug with a nervous smile
