(PETE’S POV)
Solana was not at school this morning, Larry said so when we met at our first class of the day. He said she had decided to stay at home today. Asides Solana’s absence from school, everything was going on normal till it was lunch time in the cafeteria.
Larry, Darryl, Joe and I were having our lunch at the table and then Chuck came into the cafeteria with his friends.
Immediately turned to Larry just as he raised his head noticing Chuck’s entrance.
Soon, we all locked gazes with each other. I held my breath hoping Larry would ignore him and just pass but my hopes were dashed when Larry rose slowly from the table his eyes never leaving Chuck’s.
