(PETE’S POV)
I cared a lot about my little cousin, Junior. I did not really like kids but Junior was not just any kid he was my favorite kid and he was definitely one of the smartest kids in the world to me. He adored me and looked up to me seeing me as his super hero from the time he could. Right from when he was a baby, I was there and I have been there. So we had a very close relationship. Mum thought it was adorable, as Aunt Grace was her own younger sister. But I had mixed feelings about attending his birthday party and all because of one good reason.
It was his 12th birthday celebration and I did not dream of missing it. Not to mention that he would never forgive me if i dared to actually miss it.
Mum had made sure to remind me of this when she had asked me what the matter was in
