(SOLANA’S POV) ‘Lana!’ Dad’s voice boomed for the second time and this time he added. ‘There’s something here for you.’ ‘Be right down.’ I shout back stuffing my books into my bad and zipping it up. Then swinging it over my shoulder, I started down the stairs wondering what was waiting for me down stairs. Dad is standing in the hallway with a rolled up newspaper under one arm, a mug of tea in one hand a wrapped bouquet of flowers in the other hand. Immediately I see the flowers, my heart swells in joy and a smile creeps up to my face without even knowing it. Those look like the flowers in the picture Pete had taken and sent to me yesterday. The ones he had gotten from gardening with his mum. As I approach dad, I see that there is no way I am wrong. They just look cleaner and so brighte
