(SOLANA’S POV) The restaurant Chuck picked out was pretty classy and I have to say that I am impressed. He did make a very nice effort. We are having dinner at a reserved table at the balcony and the view was exquisite. It looked so romantic and for a minute I begin to worry if this sends the wrong message or not. Then I think of Pete and my stomach churns inside out. I’m seated sipping a mock tail. I stare at my phone. It’s been 30 minutes and Chuck still hasn’t showed up. I tried calling and the number won’t go through. I panic a little, wondering if he stood me up. I shake the thought out of my head. And then my mind wanders off to Pete. I sigh. What a date I am already having. My date is late and I am thinking of another man. It doesn’t matter, Chuck is just a friend. Not with this
