I gaped up at Raiven. I never even realized I did that until now. I can’t believe I called our baby by his name. How could I? Why? Was I so blinded by anger I let it slip without me knowing?
I looked over at the sleeping Killian. I have to fix this. I can’t have him hurt because of me. I started to stand up. Raiven pushed me back down.
“Not so fast. He’s sleeping right now. Let him be.” Raiven glared down at me.
I glanced away from him. I knew he was right. He always was. How can I make it up to Killian?
