"So this is the ship that made it to Dark Space?" Waylon asked, shuffling his feet onto the Jarna’s navigation deck. "Amazing."
Josh had wanted his friend to rest, but Waylon had insisted on seeing the bridge of the first human ship to survive the journey outside of the galaxy and into Dark Space.
Upon reuniting with the Jarna in the asteroid belt surrounding Osiris, Josh had checked the navigation around the planet. Hundreds of Piscean ships had launched as if anticipating an attack, but they did not venture into the asteroid belt. For all Josh knew, they had escaped the system undetected when they curved to a planetary body devoid of life within the Osiris system to plot their return.
