LET ME HELP

ALYSSA POV

Silver and I met on the ship where we have been heard captive for almost one week. We have been friends ever since we met there. She usually sneaks out of the tunnel to go steal some food from. the sailor and captive just to fill our stomach. Since then, that was only what kept us alive. Most of the kids who were held captive just like us died out of hunger and their bodies were thrown out of the sea.

The day we were going to reach our destination that night, Silver had cried that day and never let me go. We prayed that we are going to meet each other again and it seems God has answered our prayers.

"So you remember me?", Silver asked in tears and I pulled her into a deep hug again already crying too.

" But I can't believe you survived", I sobbed.

"How did you get here?", We both asked at the same time.

" Me", She pointed, "I was sold to a woman who seems to be barren, she needed a child so badly so she had to adopt me", Silver said smiling."What about you?", She askes and I explained all that happened in the past few days that we separated.

"Am so glad you are alive now and safe", Silver said and hugged me again before she pulled out.

Silver is purely South African, her accent could tell, she browns in complexion, slim, short black coiled hair, and a perfect shape for her size.

How happy I am to meet her again, last time we were together she was so skinny but now she has grown this big.

" So where are you going to?", I asked.

"Oh me, I was just on my way to class", Silver answered back with a smile.

" But the class is that way", I said pointing to the main school hallway.

"Yeah I know, I was just on my way to meet my friends over there", Silver said as she pointed to a white guy at the school gate before waving at him.

" Who's that?", I asked with a wink as she laughed.

She understood what I meant.

"Oh come on, he's just my friend", Silver said as he approached us.

" You sure about it?", I asked again giving her "I know he's more than that look".

She cleared her throat giving me a keep quiet look as he came closer to us.

" Hey ladies", He greeted as I noticed Silver blushed in his presence because he was standing between us.

"Hi", We both replied.

" Uhm..", She cleared her throat." Alex meet my best friend Alyssa, Alyssa meets Alex", Silver introduced with a smile.

"Nice meeting you", Alex said with a smile before we both had a handshake.

I smiled back.

Alex is a handsome white American, blonde hair, cute dimples, with a well-built body. He looks so hot but not as much as Liam.

" Oh God what's going on with me now?", I asked myself as I snapped out of my thoughts.

During....(bell rang)

"Oops...I think this is time for our first lesson", Alex said the moment he heard the school bell.

He lead the way in and we followed him from behind into the main school hallway.

" We have more than twenty-four classrooms in this school, so which lessons do you have now Aly?", Silver asked.

"I don't know actually because am new here", I briefly replied.

" Science, Art or Social Science?", Alex asked and I remembered the class groups I do have in my country school, nothing changes at all here.

"Art", I replied." I guess", I said and forced a smile.

"That means we three must be having same class because right now we have social lessons now", Silver said and we both smiled.

" Yeah am glad too, cause I will get to know you more", Alex said with a cute smile on his face as he tapped me on my shoulder." So see you, girls, in class, I will be going to save some seat for us", Alex said as he gave Silver a peck on the cheek before he left.

Silver flushed as she walked slowly to her locker and opened it as if she was dreaming." Ha..isn't he so cute", Silver whispered.

"Like seriously", I teased as I tapped my finger on her nose snapping her out from her silly thought.

" Oh before I forget, I was asked by the principal to give you this key for your locker", Silver said as she brought out a key from her backpack and gave it to me.

"Are you sure?", I asked as I took the key from her.

I still wanted to confirm if she's still imagining things.

"Yeah 104, he gave it to me when I went to submit my form, She said something like Alyssa Michael", Silver said and I realized she was right.

I went to search for my locker and I noticed it was close to her locker too." I never knew it was close tours", I said jokingly and she laughed.

I brought out my bag and brought out two books and a pen before I opened my locker and dropped my bag in and locked it again.

"You are ready to go", Silver asked as she locked her locker.

I knew we're late already because we are the only ones left in the locker room.

"Let's hurry up, I find it uncomfortable here", I said sadly before I dragged her out from her locker and she lead the way out.

We got to the class and the chair is already occupied by scholars. We took an excuse from the lecturer and she paused for a moment and let us in.

"You are both late", She said to us both." And by the way, you must be a new student", She said immediately she noticed my presence.

Silver has already left me behind and joined Alex in the free chair that he saved for the three of us.

"Please introduce yourself to the class", She ordered.

" Uhhmm...am Alyssa Micheal", I said feeling nervous with the way everyone stare at me.

"Well am your social teacher, Miss Jacqueline", She introduced and I nodded." Go have your seat and I hope you enjoy the class",She said and I walked in finding a chair to seat and it was then Alex waved at me.

I quickly walked to join them when i felt my leg get kicked by something hard and i fell hitting my head on the desk hard. Everyone began to mock me and the school bell rang again as all the students stood up and left as soon as the teacher dismissed me.

Someone must have set afoot for me but I don't know who did because of the crowd already leaving the classroom.

"Oh my God, are you okay?", Silver asked feeling concerned as she rushed to help me up.

I held my head with my palm to see if I sustained any injuries.

" Yeah I will", I replied as Alex joined to help me up.

"Can't you watch where you were going?", Alex asked and I groan in pain.

" Yeah, that's what happened when we met, she never looked properly", Silver said sadly."Are you sure you don't need glasses?", She asked.

"You guys should probably be going, you have class now", I said in pain.

" But we cant".

"Please just go, I will find", I stopped Silver from talking.

" I think e should just go, she will be fine", Alex said as he walked Silver out of the class.

Sliver turned to look at me inconvenienced.

I wobbled out of the class and head out to the locker room. I covered my head tightly the moment I noticed I was bleeding.

I mistakenly bumped into someone because I wasn't looking up, we both stumbled back. I raised my face to see I have already gotten to the locker room, some girls and boys were hanging around the locker room.

I raised my eyes and turned left and spotted Liam smooching his lips on a girl close to my locker.

I haven't seen Liam since morning and I was wondering if I could call him for help but he seems to be busy and apart from that, he hates me.

"The hell are you okay?", I heard a male voice ask.

It was then I realized he was still standing there.

I nodded my head and he reached me and tried to take my hands off my head but I slapped his hands away because it hurt so badly.

" Let me help you", He said in a pleading tone.

Everyone's attention has already drawn to us, Liam left the girl he was kissing behind and walked to us.

"Will you leave her alone since she doesn't need your help?", Liam asked him not feeling concerned.

I looked downward with my hand still placed on my head.

" You see she's hurt Liam", He said angrily.

"Just leave her alone, she can help herself, the school hospital is that way", Liam pointed.

He has no compassion.

Everyone present around has already brought out their phones and started taking tape of this moment between them.

" Please I have to leave", I said in tears as I have already known where this is leading to, and that's a fight.

"No you are coming with me", He said as he grabbed my arm and dragged me along with him.

" Let her go Dallas", Liam ordered angrily as he urged to push me away from him.

"Liam for f**k sake let me help, I don't give a f**k if she's your slave or anything but right now she needs help", Dallas, the guy who heard me retorted.

I was shocked to hear that from him.

" Did Liam told him I am his slave?", I asked myself making sure I heard it clearly.
