Across campus, Mia Chen was busy preparing for the upcoming issue of the school newspaper. With her pencil tucked behind her ear and papers scattered across her desk, she was fiercely determined to highlight the importance of sportsmanship in school athletics. That determination often put her at odds with Jake and his team.
Their rivalry ignited during a pep rally when Mia's article criticizing the football team’s attitude made its way into the hands of Jake and his teammates. “Who does she think she is?” Jake scoffed, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “A wannabe journalist trying to take us down?”
