Chapter Sixteen*

It was almost a year ago, Lyn was one of the most promising students. Constant awards, impressive GPAs. She excelled in her every class, and led a few clubs. She was a prominent candidate to be the sun maiden for next year’s festival.

It was after P.E class. They had just finished playing volleyball. Lyn’s team won against the Marketing class. It was supposed to be a friendly exhibition, but they were playing against some of the college’s varsity players. One of whom was the daughter of their instructor, who at that time was hosting the game, and along with the coach, is also spectated by some talent scout looking for players represent their island in the FIVB. A first for the island of Salida del sol. And naturally, they would have the MVP on the team, his daughter.
