Lyn shuddered. Cold shivers shooting through her spin. Her chest sunk, and a feeling of frustration, fear and anger brewed inside her. Lyn held her bicep tightly. She was holding herself, she felt helpless.
“ I won’t let them slide so easily.” Margo came in for the hug. She held Lyn until Lyn calmed down. Margo brushed her hair, and looked at her.
“ I’m here. We’ll do this together.”
“ Thanks.”
Margo and Lyn were filled with determination. Lyn, felt confident, she wasn’t alone in this fight, she became more certain of what she would do. Margo on the other hand was pessimistic about this whole thing. But, she can’t leave Lyn like this, she knows that Lyn needs her, more than ever. As they hugged, Lyn felt more and more confident and calm, while Margo became more anxious for the safety of her friend.
“ Hey- Why don’t we practice your lines and routine” Margo chimed.
“ Yeah, you’re right. I almost forgot ha-ha”
“ Yeah, I know you.”
“ Hey, Thank you. This means a lot to me.”
“ You can always count on me, mmkay?”
They finished their breakfast and cleaned up. Lyn, pulled out her phone and opened the file Benny sent them.
“ C’mon, let’s practice.” Margo, set up an alarm at 2:30. They hunkered down at the sofa and began running some lines.
