Piatt hurried to the kitchen, where Jack was calling him. There he saw Jack standing infront of the other girls, acting as a buffer between them and a visibly provoked jungle snake. The two girls standing behind him was visibly startled. He noticed one was pressing a table napkin on her left arm. The other one was holding and comforting her.
