Crow Any thought of curling up in bed with Chloe evaporated as soon as I pulled the bike on to the drive. Minutes truck was there , which meant he hadn’t left yet. I might have got jealous but one glance into the back revealed a car seat. Delilah was here as well. Would Double be worried if he got home and there was no sign of his wife and son? Most probably. Pulling my phone out of my pocket I typed out a quick message to him. Tonight it looked like I would have a house full, not that I blamed anyone. They probably needed the moral support. Especially Delilah. Whether this was Minutes idea or not I didn’t know. It didn’t really matter. I knew just how persuasive the women could be. “Hey.” I didn’t say anything until I got to the living room door. And even then I kept my voice low.
