I should have known he was up to something when he had let me cover the marks on my face and neck with make up. Something he never used to do but when I saw Delilah yo there , it was like the air left my lungs.
If Delilah was here then Double would be as well. I had let my eyes travel before I could stop myself. Falling into the trap Gunner had set for me. But it wasn’t Double I saw.
