Tara's pov

"ok,Tara Wilson let's go rule the f*****g world".I said while going down the stairs.I am finally starting at Maybrooks so I took extra time to get ready,I'm surprised mum didn't come to call me cos she's shouted my name more times than I can. remember.I walk into the kitchen and what me was the worst horror of my life, My parents were making out

"No,no ,no....what the heck".I shouted,My voice was enough to break whatever was going on in their heads

"Honey".They said at the same time, Mum's makeup was already rubbed off and her lipstick was smudged.Her hair was rough and--

"Honey".Mum called me out from my thought .She was still panting from the exercise I witnessed earlier and dad was just standing there stroking his beard

"No,this can not be happening.Your face is a mess".I said ,pointing at her.She was supposed to drive me to school but now she looks like a clown

"ouch".She said,faking hurt

"oops sorry".I said with an apologetic smile

"No worries,just give me ten minutes to freshen up".She said before dashing upstairs

"Sigh,what to do".I muttered,we have less than thirty minutes before assembly and I still have to go to the administration office for my locker and things like that.

I grab the keys to the car and sit there.After hours which in reality was 11 minutes,Mum came out

"Wow,I didn't actually think she could freshen up that fast".I thought to myself.The drive to school was filled with tension but I didn't care.I can't afford to be late on my first day

"Bye mum".I waved to her as I got down from the car.I left before she had the time to reply

I bring out the flyer I saw that day and head to the administration office.

"sorry,he just stepped out.Would you mind coming later".The secretary said with a smile on her face

"oh,No problem".I said without thinking.But it was a huge problem,I have to carry my bag to all my classes and that is not how I pictured my first day

"ugh, Today's not my day".I said as I head to my first class

But in the same school, someone else was feeling the same thing
