17 Wind gusted through the treetops, causing leaves to flutter and fall from branches. They landed on a wide asphalt path that stretched through a small patch of forest where sunlight streamed through in silver rays. Anna pressed her lips together, turning her head to survey her surroundings. She blinked once or twice. Nice place, she thought. Not the kind of setting you'd expect to find a criminal. She wore a pair of old gray pants and a matching t-shirt, her red-blonde hair done up in its customary ponytail. It could be worse, she noted. I could have to infiltrate yet another dingy warehouse.
