23 The open suitcase on the bed contained folded clothes, tiny bottles of shampoo and makeup, and several other items. As he watched his daughter pack, Harry felt a growing sense of apprehension. Missy hunched over the bed, turned so that he saw her in profile. “I can't believe you're making me do this,” she said, throwing a glare in his direction. “You of all people should know better than to give in to Mom.” Harry frowned, then looked up to lock eyes with his daughter. “I'm not sure what you want from me,” he said, shaking his head. “Your mother's right.
