TODAY IS TOMORROW   “Grrrrrr,” my alarm rang at six in the morning. I jumped to my feet upon hearing it and immediately went to the bathroom to prepare for school. It had become my practice since about a week ago to wake up that early so that I could get to school before the first bell rang. But I wasn’t always like that. In fact, I never heard the first bell ring up until last week. I was always late. But it wasn’t really my fault. It was ‘African time’. I grew up in the outskirts of Lagos, Obawole town and African time was definitely a thing. While I was not usually too late to school since I went with my dad, I was most definitely always late for everything else. Except for lunchtime of course.
