CHAPTER SEVENTY-TWO - MISSING PIECES (2)
The Riser conjured a snake made of energy from within his palm and sent it straight at Kiro and Olivia. The hammer reacted to it but the snake wriggled its way around it and went straight at Kiro. Olivia swung her sword at it, this time it was just a normal swing without the powerful blast that would usually come with it, but it evaded it as well. As it made to bite Kiro, Olivia flung herself on him, taking the bite instead. The Riser was a bit surprised at her show of loyalty but it mattered little to him. He still had two more bites left. “You’re a bit heavy don’t you think?” Kiro whispered. She gasped and almost cried out if Kiro hadn’t hushed her. He was awake alright, but he didn’t want the Riser to know. Luckily, he was yet to realize it. But he needed to say a few things to her and
