Victor stared at his palm. He couldn’t feel his power flow anymore. Olivia’s eyes glowed a strong blue. She was nullifying his ability alright. “Do you really think I need my abilities to take you on? The difference in our levels is unfair, to begin with,” Victor said.
“Then prove it. I’m right before you.”
“Bold words from someone still clinging on to her weapon against an armless opponent,” Victor snapped.
Olivia hadn’t even noticed she was still holding her sword. She threw it to the side. “There you go.”
“You’re really serious. Alright then. Humor me,” Victor grinned.
He charged straight for Olivia. He was a bit quicker than he expected. But she could deal with that. Victor was right. Stats mattered a whole lot. He was on level 21 and she was on level 13. That was a whole 8 levels
