Alice got home, more tired than she usually was. She laid on her bed, wide awake but without anything on her mind. She picked up her phone, but before she could unlock it, Heress appeared again. “Would you like to talk now?” Heress asked.
“Nah, I’ll pass. You can keep your secrets. I have enough problems already,” Alice said as she unlocked her phone, dispelling Heress from her screen. As she scrolled through the social trends, she noticed a recurring story, reports of people claiming to see an angel. Some even had distant photographs to back up their claims, although none of them was distinct enough to be taken too seriously. She locked her phone again. Nothing seemed to pick her interest.
