Chapter 3

Robert POV

I couldn't bear the pain in my heart as I was given a white paper by the secretary of my father's company. I thought it was business s**t. I carefully opened it and saw something like a sack of papers ,seeing my name on it and my father's signature on it. I carefully again took a good look at it thinking I was wrong for the first time but it was still the same results. Suddenly I became angry asking why he would do such a thing so I decided to drive home to check on him first. I quickly jumped into my car and drove home. The distance was a little bit far from the company but I added more speed being so curious to know why he would do such a thing. Not long after I arrived at my humble residence and didn't do anything and headed directly to my father's room. I saw him by the window as he drank some coffee. Maybe he was preparing for himself.

“Father” he looked in my direction and his face showed that he was waiting for my question and noticed it. “What could be the meaning of these sack papers? Where have I gone wrong? I would feel free to correct it, I promise. At first he kept quiet for a while. "Father, don't act ignorant. Can I have your attention? Are you the one that is behind these Dem papers?” I said in a harsh voice. I needed an explanation so I had to do it the hard way.

Finally my father turned to me, smiled and said, “ I did gave you limitless time to get a wife for yourself and you were ignorance so I have to pend you from being the owner of the companies and also I would seize your inheritance until you get a woman in your life”

“ but I told you I needed time to get a wife for myself why making it difficult and frustrating ne to find a woman for myself”

“ like I always say there is no time to be wasted, I don't have the whole time to live in this world I needed to see my grandchildren”

“why saying all this you and I knows that you are not dying anytime soon you don't have to hit me at my weak point simply because I am not married yet”

“ I would have to do it on your weakest side for you to know how important it is for you to have a woman in your Life” my father said and walked out to the living room.

“How does he know that the inheritance and my business is my weakest point and I don't play with it? How on earth would I be so fast to get a woman and I must have a contract marriage with just for the mid time then later I would find a good woman for marriage”.

“Yeah I have to call Anna maybe she may be of good help at this time”

I took my phone from my pocket and had to call Anna. I called her phone and there was no answer. I decided to make a call one more time. This time it was answered but wasn't the voice I was expecting. I asked the voice who she was and she explained to me that she was just a friend.

“ sir the owner of the phone is at the hospital she almost got killed by a car”

On hearing this I was surprised. “ Which hospital was she admitted to and can you please send the location”

She then sent me the address through SMS. I got to my car and went straight to the location which the unknown voice sent to me. Few minutes after I was at the hospital I called the attention of the receptionist sitting there. “ am looking for someone who was admitted here her name is Anna”

“can you please tell me her full name” the receptionist asked me

I couldn't identify her full name because I was yet to know her so I made a call and the unknown voice answered It again. “you have to come outside okay so the receptionist will identify you okay”.

Finally she came outside. I saw her and she was familiar to me. She was the secretary of Alex's company . I asked myself how she would relate to Anna so I just kept watching and achieved my main goal of getting Anna in my life.

“wow nice to meet you here what a coincidence I never knew I could see you face to face someday ” she said to me

Later after all the confirmations the receptionist allowed us to go in to see Anna. I thought she may still be unconscious about the accident but before we arrived in the room she was already up but was not too strong to do anything so I allowed her to stay on the bed while I told her about the business.

“Could you please give us some minutes outside please” I told Anna's friend. It was the unknown voice she looked at Anna and signaled to her if she was okay Anna also shakes her head in an okay sign.

I started by asking how she was feeling and she said positive.

“i have a serious business for you and I hope you would be willing to accept it”

“i hope it's a good one” she said which I smiled to her

I hardly smile at anyone but I am surprised at my sudden attitude.

“ I have a contract for you which I would be glad if you accept it. Well I needed you to sign a contract marriage I want you to act like a position of being my wife the contract worth a huge amount of money one hundred thousand dollars if you would be willing to accept it”

“Can you give me time so I can go into deep thoughts about it . I promise it won't take a long time. I would like to give you my feedback.” She said of me being polite. I decided to accept but I never liked delays so it was for her to accept the contract or not.
