Silence.
Heart stopping, jaw dropping, stomach clenching silence. I knew of this fact, I knew Christina was in love with me through her drunken confession but I didn't think she would say it to my face so soon.
I always knew Christina was very bold and confident in her feelings but I never expected this. It just went to show that I was a coward.
So many thoughts swirled in my mind as Christina was still perched on my lap. I could only imagine the look my face would be carrying, or the emotions in my eyes.
