I stood staring at the card like it would give me the answers my mind could not comprehend. I never told Aaron my birthday, that was even not what I was concerned about.
Aaron left me hanging, made sure I never stepped foot into his office and he had the audacity to send me gifts? I could not explain what I was feeling, I was sad for the most part, but when I remembered everything that happened I could not help but feel angry. I knew it was sweet that he found out today was my birthday and bought me gifts, any other day I would have been excited, on cloud nine that he did that, but all I could think about was why he did what he did.
It was no use calling him because I knew he wouldn't pick up anyway. I needed answers but I guess I would never get them
