Sal and Micky had taken the names and addresses of the three other children picked up from the hospital by their parents. They drove to the homes, one at a time, and checked on the children. The children had told their parents about being rescued by Sal. He tried to tell the parents it was a team effort, but they insisted on thanking him. The children were doing great. They were clinging close to their parents but were happy to be home. When Sal and Micky left the third home, they were satisfied the children were happy and safe. They were convinced the parents would keep a closer eye on the children in the future, and the children would stay close and not wander away. “Should we go by and tell Alex the children are okay?” asked Micky “I’ll call Brenda and have her pass a message to him.
