I hated the full moon. Every werewolf usually loved it. Felt strengthened by it. And to a point, it still had that same effect upon me, especially if I allowed Kade to shift during it. Like any other werewolf, he loved to run within the light of the full moon. But, full moons had a different meaning to me. They had a hold over me that filled me with a sense of dread... Responsibility. Restraint. Accountability. While many others would be out enjoying the run in that beautiful, ethereal light of the moon, I paced. Striding back and forth, my mind working overtime with the thought of what was happening. Totally unsettled. Every full moon had been this way since a few years after coming of age.
