The conference had gone better than I had expected. Other than Demetri and his childish comments, and Nolan acting like he believed he was some sort of mob boss demanding respect. But, besides that, I was more than satisfied with how it had all gone down. My mate had not only earned the respect of the men within the room to gain their invite to stay, but furthered that respect by the input she had provided through her suggestions.
