The morning sun streams into the bedroom as Evelyn wakes up, a soft smile on her face. She gets out of bed and begins preparing breakfast for Min-Jun, taking care to make his favorite dishes. After finishing up in the kitchen, she walks over to the bed and gently shakes Min-Jun awake. "Good morning, sleepyhead," she says with a playful smile. "You don't want to be late for work, do you?" Min-Jun stretches his arms above his head and lets out a yawn. "I'm the boss," he reminds her with a hint of arrogance. "I can come and go as I please." Evelyn rolls her eyes at his comment but persists, knowing his tendency to lose track of time. She reminds him of his schedule for the day, including a meeting with the design team and a subsequent meeting with the marketing team. As she speaks, Min-Jun sits up in bed and stretches out his hand towards her. Evelyn takes it without hesitation, their fingers intertwining. He pulls her closer, and she finds herself tucked into the blankets beside him.
Evelyn feels her cheeks warm at his sudden display of affection. "I should probably go check on the food," she says, a hint of embarrassment in her voice. "It'll burn if I don't attend to it." Reluctantly, Min-Jun releases her hand and calls out for Tae to bring him some clothes. As he gets up and heads towards the shower, Evelyn can't help but admire his toned physique and the intricate tattoos that adorn his skin. She feels a flutter in her chest as she watches him walk away. In the kitchen, Evelyn leans against the counter, a dreamy look in her eyes as she recalls Min-Jun's closeness. She shakes her head slightly as if to clear her thoughts, and checks on the food, making sure everything is prepared to perfection. Suddenly, she feels a presence behind her and turns to find Min-Jun standing there, a towel wrapped around his waist. Her eyes trace the tattoos on his chest and arms, a mix of curiosity and desire flashing in her eyes. "Do my tattoos fascinate you?" Min-Jun asks, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Evelyn feels a rush of heat to her cheeks as she meets his gaze. "Your tattoos don't fascinate me," she replies, her voice steady. "They turn me on." Min-Jun raises an eyebrow, a playful smirk appearing on his face. He takes a step towards her, his intent clear. Evelyn's heart races as he lifts her onto the kitchen counter and leans in close, his breath warm on her skin. He kisses her forehead gently and asks, "How was your night?" Evelyn's eyes flutter closed as she remembers the previous night's passion. "It was perfect," she murmurs. "I just wish I had a human-sized teddy bear to cuddle with." Min-Jun chuckles, his lips brushing against her ear. "Why would you need a teddy bear when you have me?" he teases. His hands find their way under her shirt, his fingers skillfully massaging her back. Evelyn closes her eyes, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth.
Min-Jun notices her relaxed expression and raises an eyebrow. "What are you smiling about?" he asks, his voice low and husky. "Oh, nothing," Evelyn replies, her cheeks flushing. "I just really need a massage." As she speaks, her fantasy dissipates, and she finds herself back in the kitchen, alone. She shakes her head, realizing she's been daydreaming. "Are you hungry?" she calls out to Min-Jun, who is still in the shower. "Starving," he replies. As Min-Jun walks out of the bathroom, towel-clad, Evelyn's heart skips a beat. In her nervousness, she accidentally pulls the towel from his waist, leaving him completely naked. Evelyn bursts into a fit of giggles, her face flushed with embarrassment. "Sorry," she manages to say between laughs. Min-Jun simply raises an eyebrow, a hint of amusement playing at the corners of his mouth.
Evelyn can't stop laughing, her hand covering her mouth as she tries to regain her composure. "I'm so sorry," she finally manages to say, her eyes sparkling with mirth. "It's quite all right, you are lucky, you are on your period.” Min-Jun replies, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips. "I should probably be more careful next time." As he speaks, he reaches for the towel, wrapping it securely around his waist. Evelyn offers him a plate of food, her cheeks still tinged with a hint of pink. "I hope you like it," she says, her voice soft. Min-Jun takes the plate from her, his eyes warm with appreciation. "It looks delicious," he says, taking a seat at the table. "You didn't have to go to all this trouble." Evelyn waves off his comment with a smile. "It was no trouble at all," she insists.
“Hey, Evelyn,” he said, trying to sound casual. “When do your periods end?”
Evelyn paused, her hands still submerged in soapy water. She turned to face him, her expression curious. “Three days from today,” she replied, her voice steady.
Min-Jun smirked. “Good to know,” he said, leaning back in his chair. “Planning something special?”
Evelyn raised an eyebrow. “Why are you smirking?” she asked, wiping her wet hands on a dish towel.
He chuckled, avoiding her gaze. “No reason,” he said. “Just curious.”
Changing the subject, Min-Jun cleared his throat. “You know,” he began, “if you’re up for it, you could join me at the office today.”
Evelyn shook her head, wincing slightly. “Thanks, but I’d love to rest,” she said. “Bad period pains.”
Min-Jun nodded, understanding. “Of course,” he said politely. “Take care of yourself.”
Just then, his phone rang. Tae’s name flashed on the screen. “Excuse me,” Min-Jun said, stepping away to answer the call. Tae had arrived with his clothes, and Min-Jun quickly gave him the apartment number.
