The dress she was wearing had very small sleeves. I could see bruises forming on her arm and hand. My blood started boiling but I kept my cool on outsides.
" Are you alright? Did he hit you? " I asked but she didn't say anything.
" You were wincing when I caught your arm. And don't lie as there are bruises on your arm. "
