Why are you being so nice.. ?" Prachi asked Amit.
" I don't know... I just don't want to leave you alone like this. Let me drop you, please. " She nodded.
He slid into his car and went to drop her home.
I stopped myself from going after her. I know she would not talk to me right now but I wanted to be close to her. I attended my class though I kept thinking about her. I knew she was feeling extremely bad right now. After the class, I went to her place but she didn't even come out of her room saying she is not feeling well.
Her mom asked me what was wrong with her. I could not tell her anything. So I said that I didn't know anything.
I came back home still engrossed in my thoughts. I opened the door and was planning to change and sleep when Gautam called me on the phone.
