Chapter Twenty-Nine “Nice girl. Cute woman,” Luc said. That was the only comment he’d made to Chase about Rose and Billy Jo from where he sat in the passenger side of Aaron’s four-door pickup. Chase was in back. There had been only a moment’s debate about who was driving, considering Aaron had a need for control that exceeded Chase’s. There were times Aaron would become so quiet, and Chase understood some of the demons haunting him.
