Chapter Fourteen “I kind of walked into a situation here that’s going to tie me up for a few days,” Chase said into his phone as he paced the small hotel room. He’d expected to stay only a night, and he took in his small suitcase, knowing he didn’t have enough clean clothes. He’d have to do laundry, as one dress shirt was ruined and the other two were dirty.
