I grabbed my shirt and dove for his walk-in closet, pulling the door almost closed and pressing myself against the wall in the darkness. My heart hammered so loud I was sure Harper could hear it through the door. I heard James moving, probably pulling on pants, then the sound of his bedroom door opening slightly.
