AFTER🌊🌊 CHAPTER TWO

"Hey beautiful!, what are you doing?" Daniel asked as he snaked his hands around my waist. I was lost in thought staring through the window at the balcony of the hotel we were at in Mauritius.

"Tell me, is it about that time you told me I was wasting my time asking you out?" he asked again smiling this time earning a laugh from me as I turned to him to get a good look at him.

'yea I know, you swore you wasn't going to date me remember? but see who's married to me now? huh!" he added winking. I just couldn't stop laughing.

"stop saying that will you!" you know I might change my mind about been your wife you know" I said smiling sheepishly.

"oh come on, you can't do that now Mrs Cole!. you have me for the rest of your life to deal with!".. Daniel said immediately crashing his lips to mine. I didn't hesitate as I kissed him back letting him take control of the kiss.

"look how glowing you are baby!, this trip did do you some good girl!" Estelle chirped in walking in to my office. it's been two days since I and Daneil came back from Mauritius.

"will you stop saying that Estelle!, you said exactly the same thing the very first day I arrived back home!" I replied smiling.

"can't blame me, the glow radiating from you it's just too much! she said laughing. "where's Daniel?

" I think he'll be at the office. Estelle I don't really know but I feel like Daniel has been so off lately"

"what are you talking about Ama!"

"we came back two days ago, I rarely see him. he says it's work but I don't know Estelle I just feel something isn't right!"

' oh come on dear sis!' maybe he really needs to get some things done at work. I mean you guys been gone for two months!, so I'm sure he just had a whole lot to cover up for' it's probably nothing sis!' Estelle said smiling cheerfully.

"oh Estelle!, Freya!, hasn't she been around?.. I mean I haven't seen her since we came back. it's so unlike her, she should have been the first person to come see me!"

"Have you tried calling her?, now that you mention it, I think she last came over to the house some days back.

"her cell won't go through!" I'll stop by at her place on my way home today.

"okay that's a great idea!' back to me sis!, I need a vacation!" she blurted out grinning.

"don't start Estelle, when was the last time you went on a vacation?"

"says someone who just came back from one!"

"it was my honeymoon Estelle!"

"well I think I have to go get married then!"

"yea you should so you stop disturbing me!"

"oh come on Ama. I'm bored!" and you know traveling keeps me busy!"

"just get out of here Estelle!, you're giving me a headache!

'i still have those photos from the wedding you know!' she said out smiling.

"Estelle!!!!! get out! I yelled out laughing.

"okay you have just two days to set it up dear sis!' she said smiling as she walked out but not before giving me a hug. cute little thing who thinks she's still a baby.

"After what seem like eternity at the office cause I had to sign a lot of documents and sort out some works, I headed straight to Freya. I mean the work was a whole lot but what was I expecting?' I was gone for freaking two months so obviously yes the works was gonna be loads but it wasn't like I was complaining though cause I still wouldn't trade the moments I had with Daniel at Mauritius. it was amazingly beautiful. speaking of Daniell, we came back two days ago but he hasn't been around me. I mean I understood when Estelle said maybe he was really busy but I still don't get!'. ' I mean I had told Mr Phil, the CEO of 'Smith firm where Daniel works, not to stress or give him any form of tedious work so I still don't get. well probably they just really had tons of work to sort out as well. I would have driven straight home seeing how exhausted I am but I just really needed to see Freya. cause it so unlike her not to come see me when knowing I was back already!, or is she angry at me that I actually stayed that long?' well only one way to find out!"

"I headed straight to her apartment as soon as I got down from my car after having parked it at the parking lot. maybe it was because I was too stressed or tired or lost in all of these thoughts that I didn't notice it. "at Freya's parking lot was another familiar car parked at the other side!"

"yea this is so like her!, leaving the doors opened!" I said to myself as I entered the apartment heading straight to her bedroom.

"Freya!!, Freya!, get your lazy ass down here!" I yelled out calling her name. it was obvious she was in the house.

"Freya you're so gonna get it from me!, how dare you not come to see me when you know I was"................ I froze at the sight before me standing right at my track as soon as I opened the bedroom door.

"you know that feeling when you're seeing something right in front of you but you're refusing to believe what it is you are seeing and you just keep praying it was a dream and that someone should poke you and scream out your name saying it was just a nightmare?" yes that feeling, that is what I am feeling right now.

'i tried balancing my self a million times but my legs just wouldn't cooperate. they kept shaking. I just stood there trying to grasp the whole scenario in!'.

"laying on the bed is the two most important persons in my life!, "my husband and my best friend 'making out' right in front of me.

I wanted to say something but nothing was coming out. I just stood there staring at them and to make it even worse, after their taunting kissing section, they look right back at me smiling.

"yes you heard it right!, they were smiling right back at me!".
