Lianne’s POV
I was watching Lesley from behind as the crowd cheered for her. They really liked Lesley. Well, Lesley is a nice girl so it’s not hard to love her. I just hated her before because it felt like everything was going well with her. She didn’t need to work hard because she easily caught the attention of the emperor. Meanwhile, I haven’t even had the chance to touch the emperor, my father, throughout my entire life despite being the eldest daughter.
I really despised her back then and I am fortunate enough to realize how kind she really was during our practice in Mount Velasco. She doesn’t deserve all the hate I have thrown at her.
Lesley was laughing at the center and I guess she was really happy to know that the crowd wanted her to become the queen.
