I was surprised at that moment because I didn't expect Dad to be there. For what reason? He shouldn't be here anymore because he might scold us again for causing trouble here at the academy. I know he doesn't like any of us because we're all girls, but it's frustrating when this keeps happening over and over again.
"Why is he here? I thought he had a fight now?" Leighton asked. I knew they were also surprised, but we couldn't do anything because he was already there.
He was just standing in front of the door, looking at us. I took a deep breath and stood up from my bed, even though I hadn't fully recovered yet. I still felt some pain, but I ignored it because the emperor was here.
"Why are you standing, Lesley?" he asked me. "Lie back down." I blinked in surprise at his words.
