One night, Frances’ friends went to her work place and ask her to go out for fun. “Paris, let’s go.” Maine said with much convincing voice. “Go where?” She asked as her brows narrowed. “I’m busy.” She added. “Oh, Paris, you’re always busy!” Amy pined. “Because I am. I am about to interview Elizabeth Forbes tomorrow.” She replied to them. “Is she the new owner of The Forbes Corporation?” Tanya asked. “Yes, she is” Paris answered. “Uh! Boring! You’re boring. You don’t go with us anymore. Clearly, you’re no fun.” Levi said complaining with his left brow inclining. “I am fun to be with, you jerk!” Paris replied. “If you’re fun to be with, prove it to us, come with us to K-Bar.” Tanya dared her. “Sure, that’s because I am a good friend and am fun.” Paris replied with confidence. “And… you should follow our commands. We want to see you do things you’ve never done before.” Levi added with his words wrapped around the wilderness of his thoughts. “And if you don’t, you have to give us ten thousand each.” Amy intervened. “You! Sss. Fff. Fine! Let’s go.” Paris annoyingly said searching for the right words. “I knew it, you can’t curse.” Maine said.
Maine, Levi, Amy, Tanya and Frances went to K-Bar. “And here we are, it’s loud in here.” Tanya smilingly said. “Now, what should Paris do for fun?” Levi sarcastically asked? “Oh, I know, what about kiss bald people who’s here?” Amy suggested. “What about let other guy buys us a drink?” Maine suggested. “Or we can tell her to join the fast drinker of beer, and win?” Tanya implemented. “What happened to the three of you? Why all of a sudden you all became dummies? Your suggestions are so lame.” Levi strongly said rolling his eyes. “I don’t want you to do fun and not feel happy about it. You should live happily and have a love life.” He added. “Thank you very much.” Paris replied with gratitude. “So, you are going to flirt and have chitchat to the first person you’ll see after we told you to open your eyes and see how it goes.” Levi said to her and he smiles sarcastically. “Isn’t that much harder than the others?” Paris asked. “It’s going to be okay, honey.” Levi assured her. “Have you done it before?” She asked for more assurance. “Yes.” He shortly answered. “How was it?” she asked again. “Oh… it’s fine. He just stole my wallet and handcuffed me naked in my bed.” Levi seriously answered. “WHAT?!!!” Paris shockingly replied. “Okay now. Let’s---” Levi was interrupted. “Wait, what if he’s a kid?” She asked them. “Seriously, a kid? Kids aren’t even allowed here.” Amy replied. “Wow, coming from you. Don’t you remember, Amy? You and Levi faked an id so you can both get in here when you were 15.” Paris defended. “She’s right” Tanya and Maine both said. “Jinx” Maine added. “Fair enough.” Amy replied. “Now, can I go on?” Levi irritatingly asked. They all gave him the face he’s expecting. “Okay, Frances, close your eyes.” Levi said to her while holding both her upper arms. “One, two, three.” He said and twirled her to face the door. “Open now” he added.
And as she opens her eyes, she saw a beautiful woman in a tight and smoking sexy red dress. And she got aww-struck to her, looking at her for a few seconds. And then she came back to her senses. “Oh my gosh! She’s a woman! We didn’t talk about a woman.” Paris shakingly said. “It’s okay. You have to explore and expand different horizons, Paris. Don’t be afraid. And besides, as if you didn’t get aww-struck with her. If we all just know that you wanted to pull that woman in that wall and kiss her firmly and make her---” Levi was interrupted. “Okay, fine. I get it. You don’t have to finish that sentence. So, do I look fine?” She spoke. “You look like…you” Amy answered. “Thanks” she replied sarcastically. “No prob, girl.” Amy replied sarcastically, too. “I’m going to go now.” Paris said to them. “I wish I’m the one you dared, she’s hot, really hot.” Maine said honestly. And they looked at her as if she’s being weird. “What?” she replied.
Frances walks towards the woman, and awkwardly said, “Why am I sensing that the most beautiful woman in the whole universe is sitting alone at the edge of this blue couch?” She stared at her and in her thoughts, she’s speaking, “What is she doing?” Paris looked at her friends awkwardly, asking for help without the sound of saying it. While Paris was weirdly standing there, wondering what to do and say, her friends are talking about her. “She’s no flirt. Poor Frances.” Levi said sadly. “Maybe with her, she’ll learn how to.” Maine said. Meanwhile, as she feels awkward with her, she asked politely offering the space in the couch. “Do you want to sit with me?” “Really?” Paris excitedly asked her for confirmation. “Yes, the one you’re sensing that you actually thought is the most beautiful woman in the whole universe sitting alone at the edge of this blue couch is asking you to keep her company. If that’s okay with you.” She said with a smirk. “Of course, it is okay. More than okay.” Paris quickly replied.
"Wanna have some drinks? She offered. "Thank you." Paris replied. "So, what's your name?" She asked. "Uhm, my name is Frances. But my friends call me Paris, so, you can call me Paris or Frances." she answered. "Paris? Cute. It's because of Frances, minus the s." she replied. "My friends have strong sense of humor, I guess." Paris said. "I bet they have." she replied. "What about you? What is your name?" Paris asked her. "You can call me Liz." she replied mysteriously. "You are being mysterious." Paris said to her as she stares to her green eyes. "You don't like mystery?" she asked her intriguingly. "Let's just say that I am opening and expanding my horizons, so, maybe I will like mystery." Paris shyly answered. "Okay." Liz said. "You know, I really don't what to say to you. You're making me nervous." Paris said. "I make you nervous?" Liz intriguingly asked. And Paris gave her a 'yes' face and drank a lot of alcoholic beverage. "It's because you're intimidatingly beautiful and I feel guilty." Paris honestly said to Liz with her head down. "What do you mean? Why do you feel guilty?" Liz curiously asked. "You know, friends dared me to, uhm... flirt and have chitchat with the first person that I'll see after I open my eyes. And clearly, I wasn't expecting a woman, I was expecting a man. And I don't know how to flirt with a woman, neither with a man. And I don't want you to get angry at me when the time comes that it was just a dare. I am saying this because I don't want to hurt you. I don't want you to think that I am just talking to you because someone dared me to and that no one really wants to talk to you. And please say something." Paris said with much honesty and sincerity in her words. "I... I don't know what to say. Thank you, for telling me the truth. You're so sweet and cute like a munchkin." She replied smiling at her. "What's up, K-Bars Bitches?" the DJ said. The people at the shouted and screamed alongside with the loud music. "Okay, so, tonight's Sunday, and you know what we do during Sundays" the DJ said loudly. "Karaoke night!!!" the people screamed. "And that is right, it is Karaoke night, so, who wants to own the stage tonight?" the DJ asked. Paris raised her hand and said tipsily, "Me." Liz was shocked and asked her, "You're really going to sing? You're a bit tipsy." "I can manage." Paris replied. "Okay, we have our first singer of the night." the DJ said. Paris walked through and went up the stage. And she said "Hey, DJ---?" "Andrei." He replied. "DJ Andrei" she finished her sentence. "So, what's the name of this person who is gonna sing for us tonight?" DJ Andrei asked and lend the mic near Paris' mouth. "Frances is the name." She replied. "Oh. My. Golly. Is that Paris in the stage?" Amy shockingly asked. "Yeah, she is." Tanya replied. "So, what are you going to sing for us?" DJ Andrei asked. Paris whispered the song she's gonna sing. "Oh, I like that one." he said. "And she's going to sing. I never heard her sing." Maine said. "Perhaps she's impressing that girl." Levi replied as he gave a look to Liz.
"Before I sing, I just wanna say hi to my girlfriends over there, Amy, Maine, Tanya and Levi and to my new beautiful friend, Liz!" Paris said as she waves to them. "Hit it, DJ." she added. And the music started, it was "Shut Up and Dance" by Walk the Moon. She sang the song beautifully and so much energy, it seems like she’s owning the whole stage and having some sort of a concert, and she dances to the beat of it. She's like a girl who just got of a cave and went into the city. A cute wilderness ran through her. As Liz watches her, she was smiling and feeling a bit of embarrassed for her but also shocked because who knew that, that weird and shy girl who doesn't know how to flirt but knows how to make a person smile.
[So, don’t you dare look back, just keep your eyes on me
I said you’re holding back, she said shut up and dance with me…]
And then after she sang, she said, “Thank You, K-Bars Bitches! Eyy!” Her friends were shocked and amused to what she said. “Who knew that she can say that word?” Levi said. “Maybe she’s fun after all.” Amy said trying to convince her friends. “I think she is, wait, did anyone vid it?” Tanya said as she expects them to say yes. “Of course, I did. I document everything.” Maine answered with confidence. “Good.” Levi said.
“Hey, you surprised me. I didn’t know you’re a total performer.” Liz said as Paris approached her. “Yeah, I’m kinda like that.” She answered with confidence knowing that if she’s sober, she won’t even accept the compliment.
Hours have passed and Paris was really drunk. And they talked about a lot of things. Moments later. Paris talks nonsense. And that was the moment that she knows that they have to leave. “Paris, you’re so drunk. You need to go home.” Liz said to her as she holds her not trying to fall off the floor. “I’m not drunk. I am wa-wa--- hundred sooober. You’re the one who’s---who’s drunk, Linnie.” Paris said with her words trembling and intertwined with each other. “Yeah right. And it’s Liz.” Liz said as she corrects her. “Where are your friends?” She asked. “I… they went home.” Paris answered. “Why they didn’t take you with them?” Liz asked. “Because… I don’t want to leave you alone here. And they’re drunk and I wasn’t.” Paris replied. “Well, I object. Because, clearly you are.” Liz contrasted. “Where do you live? I’m going to take you home.” Liz asked her so she can take her home. “Can you take me home, but in yours instead?” Paris asked and looked at her with her cute puppy eyes.
And then, Liz took Paris into her penthouse apartment.
