It was almost dawn when Cory and Paul retuned home along with Gray.
They slumped on the sofa not knowing what to do. The police were outside the house tapping their phone.
Paul’s phone started ringing and he picked it up thinking it was the kidnapper, but it was Rita.
As soon as he heard her voice, he broke down and started crying like a baby.
Cory grabbed the phone and spoke to his sister-in -law and explained everything to her. While Gray hugged his friend. His heart had gone numb, he was feeling as if one part of his body was missing.
