Terry went towards the door and bumped into her mom.
She was still blushing and was not able to conceal her awkwardness.
"Mom I am sorry I came late.” Terry said guiltily.
Diana looked at her daughter carefully before gesturing her to get inside and then as she turned after closing the door she saw Terry escaping to her room.
“Wait a minute young lady.” She said sternly. “Have coffee with me and then you can go to your room.”
Terry was surprised at her mother’s tone but obliged and went towards the kitchen.
They both sat down, and the housekeeper Anna served them the coffee which was ready and brewing.
It was not usually this silent when Terry was around but today it was extremely quite and even Anna wondered what was wrong?
