We did quite a lot of shopping before we left for the vacation. Henry insisted we needed a lot of pictures during the holiday for his dad to see in another magazine. I picked out a couple things and showed Zoey but she seemed extra picky today. Usually when I asked her to pick out something for me she would just select something nice and agreeable but she found something wrong in everything I brought out.

“Zoey, this is the ninth dress for goodness sake, and this one isn’t even that bad.”

“I know but its too.... Purple.”

“What does that even mean? Just a couple of seconds ago you said my black dress was too dark.. Like it’s black of course it’s going to be dark.”
