Chapter Five The Widow Taylor I hardly got any sleep that day. A couple of hours went by and then the tenants started calling with problems. Eventually there were three units that needed some kind of attention. Sometimes I would try to help the tenant fix things, or speed dial one of the many fix it dudes listed in my phone, but just when I thought one problem was solved up popped another. In the end I didn’t get back to bed until well past sundown. I put my phone on mute. I was so tired all I could do for dinner was call for a pizza. The delivery man took a lot longer than usual. So long that even though the pizza was in one those square bags to keep it hot, it was stone cold. The pizza guy muttered an apology, shoved a coupon in my hand for a free pizza on the next order and dashed off
