Confessions and Revelations
Julia and I were up when Maddy and Warren got back. They found us on the terrace, my feet up on a chair with a naked Julia behind me engaged in a neck rub. My eyes were closed and I was just digging on the smooth way she kneaded my muscles. Julia was a nurse after all and she knew the human body. But then her hands stopped and squeezed my shoulders.
Warren and Maddy had come around the front of the house and were reaching the top of the wide steps leading up to the terrace. Warren looked exceptionally pleased as he led Maddy along on a leash. For her part, Maddy was pretty well all wrung out. Matted hair and caked on dust told the story that Warren had indeed made Maddy really play the part of a ponygirl.
