“Close your mouth unless you want to catch flies,” Edward drawled. Talia immediately snapped her mouth shut and frowned at him. Mentally however, her mouth was still gaping in shock. And it showed in her eyes and in her inability to fill the silence that stretched around them.  “You wanted to know,” he reminded her after a moment. He was beginning to sound irritated. Talia realized she had been quiet too long and had to force words out of her throat or he wouldn’t continue, and he had to continue. She was sure he had barely scratched the surface.
