They walked the length of the tunnel in eerie silence. Each man focused on his own thoughts and prepared mentally for the trouble ahead.
Occasionally, Trick stopped to check the camera feeds and determine how far their unwanted guests had moved. They needed to be sure they still had the upper hand and would catch the armed men before they went beyond the tunnel’s exit door in the forest.
